After qualifying (MBBS) from Gandhi Medical College, Bhopal, I have received 3 years of training (MD Psychiatry) at NIMHANS, Bangalore. During this period, I have acquired skills in pharmacological treatment(Medicines) of psychiatric illnesses, psychotherapy, family therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy etc. This experience has provided me with a holistic approach to mental health problems.

I have worked in St. John's Hospital, Bengaluru for 3 years as Senior Resident and as an Assistant Professor in J K Hospital, Bhopal for 1 year, where apart from attending to patients, I have supervised medical students, psychology trainees, and psychiatry residents. During this period I also liaised with other medical specialties in managing patients having medical conditions with psychiatric or behavioral problems.
